Buddy Flight — Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 September 2026 · Current user-content terms version:
ugc-2026-09-02-p11 · Previous version, still accepted
from older versions of the app: ugc-2026-09-01-p8f
These terms are the agreement between you and PB Fun Gaming, IČO 01033450, Czech Republic ("we", "us"), about your use of the Buddy Flight game and the online services behind it. Installing or playing Buddy Flight means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the game.
1. Who may use Buddy Flight
You may play the offline game at any age subject to the store's own rating. To use the online features — Social, leaderboards, friends, challenges and the online photo — you must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country sets a higher minimum age for online services (for example 15 in the Czech Republic). If you are below that age, do not open Social.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Buddy Flight on devices you own or control, for your own private and non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, decompile or reverse-engineer the game, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Accounts
- Playing does not require an account. One is created only when you explicitly use Social and complete the Google Play Games sign-in.
- Your account is tied to the Google Play Games identity you signed in with. There is no password to choose and no username to pick: the display name comes from Google Play Games.
- You are responsible for what happens through your account and for keeping access to the Google account behind it.
- You may delete your account at any time — see deleting your account. Deletion is permanent, and the same Google Play Games identity cannot be used to create a new Buddy Flight account afterwards.
4. Fair play
You agree not to cheat, exploit defects, automate play, tamper with network traffic, manipulate leaderboards or challenges, or use more than one account to gain an advantage. That includes invites: an invite is for a real new player, so creating accounts, installs or devices to reward yourself is a breach of this section. Ranked results are validated on our server. We may reject or remove results, remove leaderboard entries, refuse or reverse an invite reward, and suspend or terminate accounts that break this section.
5. Purchases
- Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Photo Studio is a repeatable consumable purchase that grants one new photo change. There is no loot box and no subscription.
- All purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's own terms and refund policy. We never see or hold your payment details.
- A purchase is tied to the Buddy Flight account that made it. Deleting your account permanently loses the purchase: the entitlement is erased with the account, the same Play Games identity cannot sign up again, and "Restore purchases" cannot bring it back afterwards, because there is no account left to restore it to. If you want to keep a purchase, do not delete the account.
- A photo change can also be earned instead of bought, by inviting a new player who installs Buddy Flight from your invite link and scores at least one point in their first online flight. An earned change behaves exactly like a bought one, has no cash value, cannot be transferred or refunded, and is subject to section 4. At most five invites are rewarded immediately in any seven days; a further valid invite is not lost — it is credited once that window moves.
- We may change prices, the catalogue and game balance. We will not take away a product you have already bought except as enforcement under these terms.
- Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected by anything in this section.
6. Your photo, and the content rules
Buddy Flight lets you share the processed cut-out buddy you made in the photo editor. Every new cut-out starts Private on your device. Saving or editing it does not upload it. It is sent only after you use the Share action for that cut-out and choose Friends or Everyone. The version identifier at the top of this page is the user-content terms version recorded with an upload. You may accept a current version once per account, but that never turns on automatic uploads: each later cut-out needs its own Share action and its own audience choice. Choosing Everyone for a cut-out that has not been checked yet is part of that same single Share confirmation and applies only to that cut-out; for a cut-out that is already approved, an Everyone audience needs a separate short confirmation for that exact approved version. Neither is a publication by itself: an Everyone cut-out is shown to nobody until it has been checked, and one cut-out's Everyone confirmation is never inherited by a later one.
What you promise
- You have the right to the image, and everyone recognisable in it has agreed to it being used this way.
- You grant us the permission we need to store and re-encode the cut-out, have it checked automatically and manually, and display it to the audience you explicitly selected inside the game. That permission lasts only as long as the image is on our servers.
Objectionable content — not allowed
Do not send an image that contains or depicts:
- anything illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- sexual or sexually suggestive content, or nudity;
- graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies violence or self-harm;
- hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that attacks or demeans a person or group;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including a photograph of another person used without their permission;
- content that impersonates someone else, or that is used to deceive or defraud.
How this is enforced
- Every submitted image is checked automatically before anyone can see it and may be reviewed manually by an authorized moderator, before or after publication. Nothing is visible while the first check is waiting.
- Any player who actually receives a photo can report that exact photo. Any player can separately report or block another player from the row or detail where that player appears.
- We may refuse a submission, remove or stop showing an approved image, withdraw access to the feature, and suspend or terminate an account, without notice where the breach is serious.
- Friends means accepted friends. Everyone means only that the approved cut-out may also be shown beside you in Global leaderboard results returned to signed-in players, using short-lived row authorization. It is not a public profile directory or a way to fetch a photo by knowing a user id.
- If moderation rejects an original photo change the account was entitled to use, the account may receive one replacement for a different cut-out. Rejection of the replacement, owner withdrawal, deletion, supersession, cancellation or moderator removal creates no further replacement.
- You can choose Private or delete your online photo at any time. That stops further serving and destroys the server image bytes without deleting your local cut-out. It cannot retroactively erase pixels already delivered to a device that has since gone offline.
User-content terms versions
ugc-2026-09-02-p11— current. The audience is chosen for one specific cut-out as part of the Share action that sends it, so Everyone can be selected before the check rather than only after it. What is sent, how it is stored, how it is checked and who it is shown to are unchanged.ugc-2026-09-01-p8f— previous. Everyone could be chosen only after a cut-out had been approved. It is still accepted from older versions of the app, and cut-outs already published under it stay published under it. It does not authorise choosing Everyone before a check.
7. Reporting and blocking
Reporting and blocking are available in the game wherever another player or another player's photo is shown, under Social. Blocking removes that player from what you see and prevents both sides from receiving each other's photos, including Everyone photos. Unfriending immediately prevents further Friends-only serving, but does not by itself override a valid Everyone selection on a signed-in Global leaderboard. If you cannot use the in-game tools, write to info@pbfungaming.cz.
8. Advertising
The free game is supported by an occasional full-screen advertisement shown after a run has ended. Where the law requires it, ads are requested only after you have made a consent choice, which you can change under Settings → Ad privacy options. Remove Ads switches interstitials off. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
9. Availability
The offline game keeps working without our servers. The online features depend on our server and on third-party services and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. We aim for a dependable service but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may take the online features down with reasonable notice where the notice is possible.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Buddy Flight at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the game. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, breaks the law, or endangers other players or the integrity of the game. Where it is reasonable we will warn first; serious breaches — cheating, prohibited content, fraud — may end an account immediately.
11. Liability
Buddy Flight is provided "as is" and, to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim arising from the game is limited to what you paid us for the game in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. A Czech consumer may bring an out-of-court dispute to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI, coi.cz). In-app purchases are sold through Google Play and are subject to Google's own terms and refund process.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The updated version appears here with a new date, and the user-content version identifier changes whenever the content rules in section 6 change — the game then asks you to accept the new version before your next upload. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
